Clinical research

The research behind cold

Cold therapy has a real scientific literature behind it. This library collects published studies on whole-body cryotherapy and cold exposure, and shows how the science shapes the machines.

From paper to floor plan

The science is the argument. The machine is the answer.

See how a 2–3 minute whole-body session actually runs, on the hardware built for it.

The engineering response

What the research demanded of the hardware

Extreme cold deserves engineering respect. The safety systems on every XR machine are the practical answer to what the literature says about doing cold properly: controlled exposure, monitored clients, and a hard stop always within reach.

Monitored, every second

Controlled exposure by design

Sessions are short by protocol, 2–3 minutes whole-body, and the operator screen holds live cabin status the entire time. Thermal imaging, pulse sensing and fail-safe unlocks keep the exposure controlled from the first second to the last.
